Changing Effective C type parameters using Modbus without cycling power

Postby om_tech_support_KR » Fri Jun 01, 2018 10:10 am

Q: Is it possible to change effective C type parameters using Modbus without cycling power on an AR built in controller system?

A: Yes, after changing the parameter and writing a 1 to the “Batch NV memory write” register 0193h, you can write 1 to register 018Dh “Configuration” and you would not need to cycle the power on the driver for the parameter to take effect. If you need to do this process again you will need to write a 0 into the registers first since these commands execute when writing from 0 to 1.
