LABVIEW: Carriage Return

Postby om_tech_support_JT » Wed Jun 15, 2011 7:09 pm

Q: What are the character designations for "carriage return" for LABVIEW? I'm using LABVIEW's VISA function to send ASCII commands to one of your step motor controllers/pulse generators.

A: It's "/R/N", which basically means "carriage return then a new line". You would always need a carriage return after every line of command you send to our controller, or else our controllers won't take it.
