EZlimo: Grounding the Motor

Postby om_tech_support_JT » Fri Jul 13, 2012 3:25 pm

Q: I can't seem to find enough information in the literature about your EZlimo linear slide actuators regarding the wiring of the motor cable to its controller. I'm thinking of using either the EZS II series ballscrew slides, SPV belt-pulley slides, or the EZC II series cylinders for an in-house inspection process. How can I provide proper grounding of my motor? Can you provide some information, or tell me where to find it?

A: To provide proper grounding, you'll have to use the dedicated protective earth ground terminal located inside the motor cover. Please see illustrations below regarding proper wiring of the EZlimo motor cable.
