Q: Why do some of the dimensions in your drawing offer tolerances, and some dimensions don't?
A: When we show tolerances along with the dimension, it means that the part was machined. We are able to show tolerances for machined parts since the tolerance can be derived from the machining accuracy. When we don't show tolerances with the dimension, it means that the part was not machined, and we cannot provide any tolerance data.
