HI !!
Good Day !!
With reference to BMU Series Models: BMU5120C-200-3 & BMU6200SC-200-3, we required some clarifications are required as mentioned below:

1) whether the above combination suitable to automatically operate motor in forward & reverse direction by two limit switches which exists in our system ??

2) Also whether the combination should be stop & operate motor in forward & reverse direction by external push buttons which will be mounted on driver panel, please specify whether this option is possible ??

The application is for movement of fans cleaning system (cleaning by water spray) in Air cooled condenser. Moreover, the system is operates at outdoor & moist environment in forward & reverse direction. Please let us know whether our BMU series, IP65 protection model is suitable for this application ??

Please clarify all the details to proceed further in this matter.

Hi Siva,

For your first question do you want the motor to reverse direction when it hits a limit switch? or do you want it to stop?

For your second question to stop the motor you'll either need both FWD and REV inputs on for an instantaneous stop or both off for a deceleration stop. For more information about stopping the motor please refer to the timing chart linked below.

Hi !!
Good Day !!

When the motor hits a limit switch, the motor has to take forward & reverse direction continuously.

Regarding second question, apart from Rotation direction switch (forward & reverse) in the controller, we would like to take this directional change option in our external control panel (push buttons switch), please specify whether this option is possible ??

Requested to please clarify the same to proceed further in this matter.

thanking you & Best Regards,

For the limit switches you could wire them to the FWD and REV external inputs. You could also wire the push button to these external inputs. For the wiring please refer to the linked manual below.
